As Director of Marketing and Communication, Miya cultivates relationships and implements strategic initiatives and events to connect Brinshore’s vision to the community at large.

Experience

Prior to joining Brinshore, Miya was the Marketing Manager for Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s local television stations, CW26 and The U, in Chicago, Illinois. She specialized in press and publicity, advertising sponsorships, talent appearances and events. She was also the Marketing Coordinator for FOX 5 Atlanta, the local affiliate for FOX Television Stations in Atlanta, Georgia where she managed promotional sponsorships, community affairs, and served as the host of a community affairs television segment entitled, FOX 5 Helping Hands. Additionally, she worked in healthcare marketing for a non-profit healthcare system.  

Education

Miya has a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Alabama.
