Experience
Michael has more than 25 years of management experience in construction and commercial real estate brokerage, and he brings a wide range of practical knowledge to his positions at Brinshore Development and BCM, LLC. He has been involved in the coordination and management of construction projects valued in excess of $900 million and, with BCM has participated in the completion of over 50 projects totaling over 2,800 units of housing.
Michael has a strong interest in sustainable design and community growth, and advocates for sustainable design in local communities throughout the Midwest.
Public Service and Industry Involvement
Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Housing Opportunity Development Corporation (HODC), and is co-founder of WithinSight, an organization that helps fundraise and generate awareness for vision related not-for-profits. He is also on the board of directors of the McGaw YMCA in Evanston, IL.
Education and Certification
Michael earned a BA from Depauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
He is a LEED Accredited Professional, part of the professional certification system created by LEED—Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design—the industry gold standard for its most qualified, educated, and influential green building professionals.
