Education
Megha Jhawar is a graduate student in urban planning at Rutgers University, focusing on housing and real estate development.
Experience
Trained as an architect in India, she has worked on affordable housing design for historically marginalized communities. Recognizing how dependent design is on markets, finance, land, and regulations, she is now developing the skills to approach housing development comprehensively.
Interests
This summer, Megha is excited to step beyond the classroom, engage with real estate development in practice, and learn from the Brinshore team about what actually goes into building affordable housing projects. She is also excited to explore Chicago and visit its museums.
In her free time, Megha likes to paint and draw, read fiction, and experiment with unusual flavor combinations.
