Education

Alex Copetas graduated from Oberlin College in 2022 with a degree in History and a minor in Environmental Studies. He is currently enrolled in the University of Illinois – Chicago’s Master of Urban Planning and Policy program and expects to graduate in May of 2027.

Interests

He is interested in affordable housing because of its importance as a social issue, and its role in the healthy functioning of other urban systems.

He enjoys reading science fiction and history, cooking, and playing board games. This summer, Alex is looking forward to gaining experience contributing to the development of affordable housing and meeting other professionals in the field.
